TENDER OFFER

The Board of BlackRock North American Income Trust plc announces that in view
of the fact that since launch the Company's shares have traded at a consistent
premium to net asset value with the current premium amounting to 1.5%, the Board 
will not on this occasion be exercising its discretion to implement a tender offer 
as at 31 July 2013.
