ANNOUNCEMENT OF QUARTERLY INTERIM DIVIDEND

The Board of BlackRock Commodities Income Investment Trust plc is pleased to
announce that the third quarterly interim dividend in respect of the year to 
30 November 2012 of 1.4375 pence per ordinary share has been declared by the
Directors, payable on 25 October 2012 to holders of ordinary shares on the
register at the close of business on 28 September 2012 (ex dividend date is 
26 September 2012).
