Microgen plc (the "Company")

Subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting the final dividend being
proposed by the Board of the Company, as stated in the preliminary results
announced on 28 February 2007, will be paid on 8 May 2007. The dividend will be
paid to members on the register at close of business on 13 April 2007.
