Microgen plc announces that at the Company's Annual General Meeting held today,
all resolutions were duly passed.

Martyn Ratcliffe, Executive Chairman, provided the following business update:

'The integration of the acquisitions undertaken in 2003 continues to progress
satisfactorily and is almost complete. The benefits from the increased scale of
the Group are being realised.

The Group has started the year in line with the Board's expectations. The
current market environment remains unpredictable with some market sectors
showing signs of improvement but other areas still cautious about investing in
IT. The Board continues to manage the business accordingly.'
