Africa Opportunity Fund Limited (the "Company") was notified on 4 June 2008
that QVT Financial LP, as investment manager for QVT Fund LP and Quintessence
Fund L.P., was interested in 28,197,982 ordinary shares of the Company which
represents 22.56% of the Company's total voting rights.

On 11 June the Company was notified that the holding was reduced to 25,697,982
ordinary shares of the Company which represents 20.56% of the Company's total
voting rights.
