Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. (the "Company")

Notifications pursuant to rule 17 of the AIM Rules

On 12 July 2006, 32,001 'A' ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company (the
"Shares") were released by the Trustee pursuant to the Company's profit sharing
scheme. The recipients included the following directors of the Company, John
Young, James Young, Stephen Goodyear, Torquil Sligo-Young, Peter Whitehead,
Patrick Dardis and Christopher Sandland, who each received 287 shares.

The Shares were held in trust by Ram Brewery Trustees Limited. As a beneficiary
under that trust, either as a member of the Company's profit-sharing, share
option and / or pension schemes, each of the directors referred to has notified
the Company of his changed interest.

On 14 July 2006, consequent upon the transfer of the Shares out of the Ram
Brewery Trust, the Company received from Ram Brewery Trustees Limited
notification that it was now interested in 1,730,247 'A' ordinary shares of 50p
each representing 23.81% of that class.
