Young & Co.'s Brewery P.L.C (the 'Company')

Notification of Directors' interests in ordinary shares of 50p each pursuant to
paragraph 16.13 of the Listing Rules.

Ram Brewery Trustees Limited (the 'Trustee')

The Company has today received notification that 483 'A' ordinary shares of 50p
each have today been released by the Trustee.

The Executive Directors remain beneficiaries and so interested, along with other
participants of the Company's profit sharing, share option and pension schemes,
in 4,505 'A' ordinary shares and 1,887, 400 'B' ordinary shares still held by
the Trustee. Mr J A Young and Mr J G A Young are both directors of the Trustee
