                                 Trading update

Bovis Homes Group PLC is meeting with analysts and investors today and will be
providing a trading update prior to the meeting starting.

Malcolm Harris, Chief Executive of Bovis Homes will advise:

        'Further to the announcement of the Group's interim results on 11th
        September 2006, sales activity levels have been good. The current
        outlook for the year ending 31st December 2006 remains unchanged.
        Forward sales reservations for 2007 are strong, placing the Group in a
        good position to achieve the anticipated increase in volume next year.'
