Tate & Lyle PLC 29 September 2004 - Tate & Lyle PLC Tate & Lyle Board Change Tate & Lyle PLC announces today that David Fish has decided to step down as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 30 September 2004. David Fish joined the Board on 1 December 2003. However, he feels that his appointment in February 2004 as Chairman of United Biscuits together with a number of other commitments are not compatible with his duties as a Non-Executive Director of Tate & Lyle and this has prompted his decision to step down.
