Tate & Lyle PLC (the “Company”) has been informed that Dr Ajai Puri, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, acquired an interest in 2,000 ordinary 25p shares in the Company on the London Stock Exchange today at a price of 759.00 pence per share. Dr Puri had not previously held any shares in the Company.

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the FSA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
