Director/PDMR Shareholding

Tate & Lyle PLC (the “Company”) was informed yesterday that on 10 December 2009, Javed Ahmed, an Executive Director of the Company, was granted the option to purchase 3,720 ordinary shares of 25 pence each under the Tate & Lyle 2001 Sharesave Scheme at an exercise price of 418 pence per share. The options granted are normally exercisable during the period from 1 March 2015 to 31 August 2015.

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R (1) (a) of the FSA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
