Switch to sterling trading in Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange

Smurfit Kappa Group plc (“SKG” or the “Group”), one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of paper-based packaging products, with operations in Europe and the Americas, announces that trading in its ordinary shares of nominal value €0.001 will switch from euro to sterling (GBX) on the London Stock Exchange with effect from the commencement of trading at 08.00 BST today, 1 March, 2016. This is as previously announced in SKG’s 2015 preliminary results of 10 February, 2016.

There is no change in the ISIN Code or the SEDOL Code, which remain IE00B1RR8406 and B1RR840 respectively.

The ordinary shares will continue to be traded in euro on the Irish Stock Exchange.
