Announcement Date for 2013 Q1 Results

Dublin, London, 11 April, 2013: Smurfit Kappa Group plc (“SKG” or the “Group”), one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of paper-based packaging products, with operations in Europe, Latin America and North America, announces it will release its 2013 first quarter results on Friday, 3 May 2013 at 07.00 BST (02.00 ET).

The SKG management team will host a conference call for analysts and institutional investors at 14.30 BST (09.30 ET) on that date. For the conference call numbers please contact FTI Consulting on the details below.

The Group also announces its indicative reporting calendar for the remainder of 2013:

2013 Second Quarter/First Half results:	Â	31 July, 2013; and
2013 Third Quarter results:		6 November, 2013.
