Smurfit Kappa Group plc (‘SKG’ or the ‘Group’), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of paper-based packaging products, with operations in Europe and the Americas, advises that non-executive Directors Thomas Brodin and Gary McGann retired from the Board following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting held today, 5 May 2017.

In addition, SKG are pleased to announce that Roberto Newell has been appointed as the Group’s Senior Independent Director.
