Interim Management Statement

This statement covers the period from 1 March 2008 to the date of release of the statement on 16 January 2009.

On 3 November 2008 the Company announced that the main contractor to the St Helens renewable project had notified us on 30 October 2008 that it was not able to complete construction on our project due to funding problems.

The current position is that they are still actively seeking to secure new funding however in the current climate there is clearly no certainty that they will obtain the new funding required to enable completion of the project as originally envisaged.

The Board is currently examining a number of alternative proposals in the event the contractor does not resolve its funding problems. We will report to shareholders with any further developments in due course.
