for

NAV per C ordinary share of 5p  85.34 pence

During July 2008, 268,250 ordinary shares of 1p were bought back for
cancellation at a cost of £213,854. Following cancellation, there were
11,168,222 ordinary shares of 1p in issue.

During July 2008, no C ordinary shares of 5p were bought back for cancellation.
The number of C ordinary shares in issue is unchanged at 17,719,270.
