ISSUE OF EQUITY

London: 18 January 2011 – ECR Minerals plc announces that the Company has issued 5,454,544 ordinary shares of 0.1p par value (“Shares”) pursuant to the conversion of convertible loan notes totalling £60,000 based on a conversion price of 1.1p per share.

Pursuant to this announcement application has been made for 5,454,544 Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence on 24 January 2011. Following admission of these shares the Company will have a total of 492,427,356 Shares in issue.
