Resignation of Finance Director

China Nonferrous Gold Limited 中国有色黄金有限公司 (AIM: CNG), the mineral exploration and mining company currently mining the Pakrut gold project in the Republic of Tajikistan, announces that Zhang Hao has resigned as Finance Director of the Company for personal reasons. This follows his departure as Chief Accountant of CNMIM, the Company’s largest shareholder.

Mr. Yu Lixian, Managing Director, said:

“The board of the Company would like to thank Mr Zhang Hao for his time, efforts and contribution to the development of CNG, and wishes him every success for the future. The board is now actively in the process of selecting and appointing a new finance director as soon as possible and we look forward to updating the market in due course”.

Project Summary

The Pakrut gold project, of which CNG has 100 per cent ownership, is situated in Tajikistan approximately 120km northeast of the capital city Dushanbe. Pakrut is located within the Tien Shan gold belt, which extends from Uzbekistan into Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Western China, and which hosts a number of multi-million ounce gold deposits.
