Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 3 October 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 305.3084 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 307.70 pence and 303.00 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 64,337,803 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,995,590,478 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
