Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 27 October 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 294.2278 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 296.10 pence and 292.30 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 67,692,561 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,977,897,917 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
