Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 22 September 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 320.9740 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 323.40 pence and 319.80 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 55,754,572 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,004,173,709 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
