Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 23 June 2014, it purchased (through J.P. Morgan Securities plc) 750,000 (seven hundred and fifty thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 320.286 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 321.70 pence and 319.10 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 57,784,440 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,037,091,952 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
