Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 6 December 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,100,000 (one million, one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 329.4924 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 333.80 pence and 327.20 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 107,253,868 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,092,675,824 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
