Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 2 December 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,100,000 (one million, one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 338.2873 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 341.30 pence and 335.90 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 103,058,944 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,096,870,748 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
