Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 17 December 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,100,000 (one million, one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 323.5938 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 325.10 pence and 322.50 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 114,944,044 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,084,985,648 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
