Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 27 March 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 500,000 (five hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 365.8036 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 368.10 pence and 363.40 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 18,310,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,181,612,320 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
