Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 15 March 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 352.2222 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 354.90 pence and 351.10 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 11,210,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,188,563,485 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
