Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 20 June 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,239,285 (one million, two hundred and thirty nine thousand, two hundred and eighty five) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 364.1423 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 368.00 pence and 361.80 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 35,235,349 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,164,694,343 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
