Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 15 August 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 400,000 (four hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 384.7258 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 391.20 pence and 382.10 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 49,762,160 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,150,167,532 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
