Centrica plc (“the Company”) received notice on 21 May 2010 (under the obligations imposed by Section 5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules), that on 19 May 2010, INVESCO Limited had a notifiable interest in 255,545,901 ordinary shares of 6^14/81 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 4.96% of the Company’s issued share capital.
