         Centrica plc: British Gas Home Services Presentation

Centrica plc is today holding a presentation at the British Gas training centre
in Basingstoke for analysts and institutional investors to provide greater
insight into the operation and growth potential of the British Gas Home Services
business.

At the presentation, senior members of the British Gas management team will
explain the dynamics of the home services market and where the British Gas
business model positions the brand in that market. They will also explain how
the British Gas Home Services business operates and the growth potential for the
medium term both through product development and technology innovation.
