TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES

Amlin plc (“Amlin”) announces that on 6 June 2012 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each (“ordinary shares”):

708 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 247.00 pence per share.

Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 5,276,034 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,799,972 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
