NOTIFICATION OF INTERIM RESULTS DATE

Amlin plc, the leading Lloyd's insurer, will be announcing its Interim Results
for the six months ending 30 June 2006 on Monday 4 September 2006.

Details of the analysts' meeting to be held that day (with conference call and
webcast) will be announced nearer the time.
