NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

Notification under section 198 Companies Act 1985

The Company received a notification today from JO Hambro Capital
Management Group acting as Investment Advisor to The Trident European
Fund, informing it that following a purchase of 500,000 ordinary
shares in the Company on the 19 June 2003 The Trident European Fund
has an interest in 7,500,000 shares representing 5.21% of the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.
