Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them

City of London Investment Group (LSE: CLIG), is an active, alpha-driven global asset management group with more than three decades of experience.   We announce that Michael Edmonds, a person discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMR), has been awarded 48,290 Restricted Share Awards under the Group’s Employee Incentive Plan (EIP), comprising 24,145 Deferred Shares awarded at £4.825 per share and 24,145 matching Bonus Shares awarded at nil cost.

In addition, Courtney Edmonds, a person closely associated with Michael Edmonds and an employee of CLIG, has been awarded 9,378 Restricted Share Awards under the Group’s Employee Incentive Plan (EIP), comprising 4,689 Deferred Shares awarded at £4.825 per share and 4,689 matching Bonus Shares awarded at nil cost.

Following the Award, Michael Edmonds’ beneficial interest is 145,669 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.3% of the Company’s issued share capital, and Courtney Edmonds’ beneficial interest is 38,818 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.1% of the Company’s issued share capital.
