                               Board Appointments



The Board of Minerva plc ("Minerva" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the
appointments of John McNeil and John Matthews to the Board of the Company as
non-executive directors with effect from 16 July and 17 September 2007,
respectively.

John ("J.J.") McNeil (aged 47) initially trained as a barrister and has spent
over 20 years working in various aspects of finance in the UK and
internationally. Between 1997 and 2000, he was head of corporate finance in the
UK for J. Henry Schroder & Co Limited and between 2000 and 2001 served as head
of UK investment banking for Schroder Salomon Smith Barney. Between 2001 and
2006, he worked for Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank, first as head of
European Investment Banking and then as a senior consultant. John retired from
full time investment banking in 2005 and presently serves as a non-executive
director of Mecom Group plc.

John Matthews (aged 62) is a Chartered Accountant. He worked in the corporate
finance department of NM Rothschild before joining County NatWest which he was
with for twenty years, latterly as Managing Director. In 1988 he became Deputy
Chief Executive of Beazer plc leaving prior to its acquisition in 1991. John
was then with Indosuez Capital Ltd until 1994 when he left to concentrate on a
portfolio of non-executive appointments including at Crest Nicholson plc where
he was non-executive director from 1992, becoming Chairman from 1996 until the
company's acquisition in April 2007. He was also a director of Center Parcs
(UK) Group plc from 2003 until it was sold in 2006. He is currently Chairman of
Regus Group plc, and a non-executive director of Rotork plc, SDL plc and Diploma
plc.

broad business knowledge, including that gained in the property, construction
and financial sectors, they will make a valuable contribution to the future
development of the Company".

There are no further disclosures that need to be made under paragraph 9.6.13R of
the Listing Rules.
