At the company's Annual General Meeting today, Hilary Cropper, Executive
'Trading for Xansa has started well in the first four months of our financial
year and the outlook for the company as a whole remains in line with
management expectations for the full year.
Enterprise Solutions has experienced substantial growth, with workforce
numbers up by a half compared with the equivalent period last year, as the
market for ERP implementations continues to build momentum. In addition, the
total Outsourcing business has produced strong growth supported by a number of
new and extension contracts and the impact of the large AXA SunLife contract
won during the fourth quarter of last year. Despite a generally difficult
market for consultancy assignments, Business Change has delivered similar
levels of business to that achieved during the same period last year.
In the USA, we are pleased with the performance of our recent acquisition,
Synergy International, and as indicated at the preliminary results, our other
US businesses have seen revenues of the level experienced in the equivalent
period last year.
The impact of rebranding as one integrated business is already visible in
expanding relationships with our clients. In the first four months, we have
already won significant new client contracts and the pipeline for new business
including several large outsourcing contracts has continued to grow.'
