   Taylor Nelson Sofres to acquire 51% of Israeli market information business

Taylor Nelson Sofres, a world leader in market information, announces that it
has agreed to acquire 51 per cent of the business of Israeli-based Teleseker
Limited, to be known as Taylor Nelson Sofres Teleseker Limited.

Founded in 1983, Teleseker's main areas of activity include marketing and
advertising consumer research and political and opinion polling.  In addition,
it has a joint venture with Telegal Limited, which has the Israeli contract
for television audience measurement.  The company employs 30 people and its
client list includes a number of major multi-nationals.  Turnover for the year
ending 31 December 1999 was US$4.2 million and net assets at that date were
US$1.3 million.  The current Chairman and Chief Executive, Dori Shadmon, will
remain as head of the company.

Tony Cowling, Executive Chairman of Taylor Nelson Sofres, said:  'We have a
long-established relationship with Teleseker and with the Teleseker/Telegal
joint venture in Israel, which licenses TNS TV audience measurement
technology.  We welcome the opportunity to strengthen that association and to
extend our global network into the growing Israeli market.  By joining an
international group, Teleseker will be able to offer its clients an enhanced
range of services, including our excellent range of branded research
