on Commercialisation of its Apparel Technologies

Xeros Technology Group plc (AIM: XSG, "Xeros", "the Group"), the developer and provider of water saving and filtration technologies with multiple commercial and domestic applications is pleased to announce that Donald Brenninkmeijer has been appointed as a consultant to the Company.

Donald is the former Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Brand, Customer and Sustainability Officer at the international fashion brand C&A. He will work with the Group to bring his expertise in support of the commercialisation of the Company's sustainable apparel products.

In his new role advising Xeros, Donald will apply his passion and extensive knowledge in fashion and sustainability to help the Group embed its products in the supply chains of major apparel brands and manufacturers. At C&A in Europe, Donald was instrumental in the development and launch of the international retail industry's first ever Cradle to Cradle1 Certified Gold garment in collaboration with Fashion for Good, paving the way for a more sustainable future in fashion.

Xeros Technology Group's unique products significantly reduce the environmental impact of apparel manufacturing and cleaning processes. The Group is applying its products in denim finishing, garment dyeing and garment washing, reducing consumption of water and chemistry and helping reduce emissions.

In addition, Xeros is developing filtration products for use with laundry and garment finishing equipment, which can significantly reduce the volume of microfibres released into the world's rivers and oceans.

Mark Nichols, CEO of Xeros commented: "Improving the sustainability of the clothes we wear is no longer an option, it is an imperative. We must adopt new technologies and do things differently as consumers if we are to preserve our environment for future generations. The clothing industry is critically aware of the need for change with a number of brands and retailers implementing major programmes to reduce consumption and waste across the whole value chain. Donald's expertise and track record in improving the sustainability of apparel supply chains, market understanding and insight across the sector, will be immensely valuable in helping us increase the deployment of our products.

Commenting on his role advising Xeros, Donald Brenninkmeijer said : "Everyone working in the clothing and fashion industry is critically aware of the need to produce more sustainable products. They are looking for solutions that can deliver significant reductions in resource consumption and emissions of harmful substances. I'm looking forward to working with the team at Xeros to help embed their ground-breaking technology across the apparel sector, so they can make a meaningful difference."

Notes to Editors :

Xeros Technology Group plc is a platform technology Group that is transforming water intensive industrial and commercial processes.

Xeros' patented XOrb TM    technology significantly reduces the amount of water used in the washing or dyeing of soft substrates such as garments and fabrics. They enable the remaining water to become far more efficient and effective in either affixing or removing molecules, the result being improvements in economic, operational, product and sustainability outcomes. The Group is applying its technology in the fields of cleaning, tanning and textiles.

Xeros' XDrum TM   technology is a patented, simple, low cost machine drum design which enables XOrbs to be introduced into and subsequently removed from process cycles in Xeros' chosen markets. The design enables rotating drum machine Original Equipment Manufacturers ("OEMs") in the fields of garment manufacture and cleaning, the ability to make simple and low-cost changes in their production lines to incorporate the Company's XOrb technology.

The Group has signed multiple agreements to develop and license its XDrum   and XOrb   products in major commercial and domestic markets.

XFiltra TM   is a patented in-machine filtration technology which is designed to prevent harmful micro-plastics generated by washing cycles from being released into the aquacycle. Plastics released from synthetic clothing during washing cycles is one of the single largest sources of primary micro-plastic pollution. For more information, please visit -
