Wessex Water Services Limited announces that Andy Pymer has informed the Board of his intention to retire as Chief Financial Officer later this year. The Board also announces that, following a thorough recruitment process, Richard Eadie will join Wessex Water in August as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Andy as part of an orderly transition.
Richard joins Wessex Water from Anglian Water Services, where he is currently Executive Finance Director. Prior to working in the water industry, Richard held finance roles at organisations including Danone, Apple, and Paramount Pictures.
Andy has been a member of the Wessex Water Services Board for 14 years. He will work closely with Richard to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities and to support the Board and Executive Team during the transition period.
Ruth Jefferson, Chief Executive, commented:
"Andy has made an outstanding contribution to Wessex Water over more than three decades, and it has been a great pleasure to work alongside him. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Andy for his leadership and commitment. We are delighted to welcome Richard to Wessex Water and look forward to working with him when he joins us later this year."
