Loan Repayment
TT electronics plc announces that it has received today a payment of £6 million
in settlement of the amount outstanding under a loan agreement dated 27 April
2001 with Send Group plc (now Send Group Limited), a company substantially owned
by J W Newman, the Executive Chairman and substantial shareholder of TT
electronics plc.
Loans of £6 million and £2 million were approved by shareholders on 14 May 2001,
as related party transactions, pursuant to the demerger of Send Group plc (now
Send Group Limited) from TT electronics plc (formerly TT Group PLC). Following
this transaction the second loan of £2 million remains outstanding under the
terms governing it, dated 27 April 2001, which remain unchanged.
