Proposed Options to purchase land

Proposed development of the Tottenham Hotspur Football Academy

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club ('THFC') and Abridge Golf & Country Club
(Abridge) in Abridge, Essex today confirmed that they have reached an agreement,
subject to approval by members at the forthcoming Abridge EGM, to be held on 9th
May, that includes an association between the two clubs and the acquisition by
THFC of options to purchase land adjacent to the Golf Club, for the proposed
development of the Tottenham Hotspur Football Academy ('the Academy') and First
Team training facilities.  THFC has also entered into a conditional purchase
agreement of additional land and buildings with an adjoining landowner, which
together with the options to acquire the land from Abridge totals approximately
55 acres.

Tottenham Hotspur will be submitting a planning application following detailed
discussions with the Local Authority.  A full public consultation will then
follow. The purchases will be conditional upon the grant of planning permission.
The total cost of the land purchases is estimated to be £2.5 million and would
be financed out of existing facilities.


Commenting, Daniel Levy, Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur plc, said:

class facility that will support all of our future Academy requirements.  Our

edge in the coming years.'
