Tottenham Hotspur plc is pleased to announce that agreements have been reached
with West Ham United FC and the player Frederic Kanoute for the transfer of his
registration to Tottenham Hotspur FC for a fee of £4m.

As part of this agreement Matthew Etherington's registration transfers from
Tottenham Hotspur FC to West Ham United FC for a fee of £500,000.

Frederic Kanoute is 25 years old and started his career with Lyon before joining
West Ham United three years ago.
