                Portuguese International Striker Helder Postiga

Tottenham Hotspur plc is pleased to announce that agreements have been reached
with FC Porto and the player Helder Postiga for the transfer of his registration
to Tottenham Hotspur FC for an initial consideration of £6.25m payable in
instalments over the next four years and, in addition, up to a further £2m will
be payable based on specific performance criteria.  The new 5-year contract with
the 20 year-old Portuguese international striker will commence once certain
formalities have been completed.
