                               New Player Signing



Tottenham Hotspur plc announces that Belgian international, Jonathan Blondel has
signed a 4 year contract with the Club.  The 18 year old midfielder joins from
Belgian club Royal Excelsior Mouscron.



Jonathan Blondel is the captain of Belgium's under-19 squad, and played a
leading role in helping his former club reach the Belgian Cup final and gain a
UEFA Cup place through league qualification.
