                     Jamie Redknapp Joins Tottenham Hotspur
                           Agrees Four Year Contract


Tottenham Hotspur plc is pleased to announce that agreement has been reached
with Jamie Redknapp for the transfer of his registration to Tottenham Hotspur
Football Club under a four-year contract.

Jamie Redknapp, age 28 years, joined Liverpool from Bournemouth in 1991 and
played 308 games for the club, some as club captain and scored 41 goals.  He has
17 international caps playing for England.
