Statement re: Football Club Management Changes
The Board of Tottenham Hotspur plc announces that Glenn Hoddle, First Team
Manager is to leave the Club with immediate effect.
In the interim, David Pleat, Director of Football, will take over as Caretaker
Manager, along with Chris Hughton, as First Team Coach.
Commenting, Daniel Levy, Chairman, said:
'This is not a decision we have taken lightly but we are determined to see the
Club succeed and we must now move forward. We shall be thorough in our search
for a new manager. It is a crucial appointment and we shall take the time
necessary to make the best choice. I would like to thank Glenn Hoddle and wish
him well.'
