- Purchase and cancellation of £10,000,000 in principal amount of the Stock

TrustCo Finance P.L.C. ('TrustCo') announces that it has cancelled £10,000,000
of its outstanding Stock following the purchase and surrender to it by
Securities Trust of Scotland p.l.c. of such Stock. The total principal amount of
the Stock remaining outstanding after this cancellation was £30,000,000.
