                          Retirement of Finance Director

Yule Catto & Co plc announces that Mr Allister McLeish retires from the company
and his position as Finance Director today.

Mr. Sean Cummins, who is already a director of the company and who holds the
position of Finance Director Designate, will assume the position of Finance
Director with immediate effect.
