Notice of Strategic Update

At the preliminary results on 12th April, SMG plc stated that details of a
strategic review would be given by the end of June. SMG plc will announce the
Strategic Update with a presentation to analysts on Wednesday 27th June at
9.00am at ABN Amro, 250 Bishopsgate.
